About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get everything out of life that I can..
ABOUT ME
I have a passion for life and all that it brings. I have worked in the bar/restaurant industry and construction most of my life. I am currently in the process of moving and am planning my wedding. I live with the woman of my dreams, Deirdre, and her (our) 12 year old daughter, Bella.
We have 1 wonderful, loving, sweet, loyal and well trained dog. She is a 10 year old mutt, that I adopted during my travels and journeys in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
I love to travel, whether it is an overnight trip to San Francisco or a trip across the country. I have plans to visit Ireland and Thailand in the next 2 years, and hope to be able to utilize the CS project in my travels.
PHILOSOPHY
You never know when your number will come up, so live every day like it is your last. Don't hold back, don't give up your dreams...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just hosted my first Couch Surfer, and had a great time. The person that I hosted was only supposed to be in town for a couple of day, but I liked him so much that we let him stay for almost a week before he decided to go on the next leg of his journey! On his last day here a friend of mine showed up and surfed our couch, then the next day the 3 of us decided to journey out to San Francisco. After an evening of a few beers, a couple of pool games and some MMA fights, we all went our separate ways, with plans to meet up the next morning to play a round of disc golf in Golden Gate Park. After meeting up and going to the Abbey Tavern on Geary St., we walked through G.G. Park until we finally reached the Disc course. What a blast!
All in all, I spent a total of a week with my first true Couch Surfer, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am hoping that most, if not all of my hosting experiences can be as good as this one!
Update: I have now hosted a few people, and have loved every experience. The chance to meet new people, share different opinions and philosophies, feed a hungry belly and share my home has been a wonderful experience so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands several years ago, on what was supposed to be a 6 month stay. It ended up being a 3 year adventure! Learning to sail, scuba, learning the local culture, being able to visit a lot of the other islands down in that region, and learning the philosophy of the island life was a life changing journey for me.
