About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world, and actually LIVE!!
ABOUT ME
I smile - A LOT. I hope that when I am old that my wrinkles form a smile! :) I have a very positive attitude and believe that everything has a way of working itself out.
I was born in Peru and grew up in the United States. I have worked in the Financial field for the past 5 years doing investment (stock market) education - traveling the US and giving presentations and conducting seminars. In July 2010, I decided to quit work, sell my car, and just travel around the world experiencing everything that I can for an indefinite period of time! It is my mid-life retirement! :D
**My current mission is to learn how to say "Cheers" and "Thank you" in every language of the countries I visit. So far I'm up to 11 languages! The only way to practice is with a drink, so join me in raising your glass. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Life is meant to be lived, and that's exactly what I'm going to do!
I have something to learn from everyone I meet, so I want to meet as many people as possible to feed my thirst for learning.
Fear comes in many flavors, and none of them taste good to me. I don't want to live my life controlled by fear, which is why I quit my comfortable job and left the "traditional path" behind to create my own!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing, hosting, meeting, conversing and laughing with like-minded travelers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have met some really awesome people that have life experience. I love connecting with individuals and hearing their stories, and I have not yet met an uninteresting person!
Interests
I love conversation, learning, traveling, exploring, doing things that get the adrenaline going (skydiving, bungee jumping...) or just laying on a beach.
I love music - all types. If I am in your country, please expose me to your country's music!
I love to think until my brain hurts (don't worry, doesn't take very long) and laugh until my face hurts (these muscles are a little more developed).
I love to experience new things and old things.

Teach, Learn, Share
I would be happy to teach you what I know about investing and finance if that is at all interesting to you... I can attempt some of my Thai cooking (my certificate does say Master Chef after all) or my Thai massage which translates to: "prepare to be hurt!"
I love to learn about life. If you can teach me some of your language - awesome! If you can teach me something about your culture - excellent! I am happy learning about anything!
