About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet people, and learn about their stories. I am at the point in life that I can choose to go in just about any direction, and I would love to learn about the many interesting and fun options out there by meeting other fun people!

ABOUT ME

I view success as being self-sufficient. This is something I am learning about myself, and the more I grow as an individual, the more evidence I see of that fact in my life. I hate the idea of ending up settling down and working to get that house, garage, boat, pool, .... bla bla bla, until I die/ retire. I love music, instruments, food/cooking, travel, languages, math & science as it applies to everyday life, the list goes on.

PHILOSOPHY

I dont know that I can put down in words exactly what my position on things. I believe that humans in general are incredibly wrong with the assumption that we deserve things. ... I know what I mean, but I doubt it makes sense, so I wont continue. A few more words on that though, I am working on formulating how I should personally live out my 'philosophies', and nothing is in cement as of yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created this profile years ago, because the whole idea behind this site intrigued me. Now as I get ready to find a place of my own, and define my life, I am drawn to it afresh. I believe we can learn so much from one another, and the only way we can drop barriers is break them by meeting each other and making conscious decisions to reach out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience as of yet... I would love to branch out and meet local cs s here in the area though.

Interests

I love to learn, and to apply that knowledge to different aspects of my life. Dont show me a pile of books unless you are willing to part with some! I enjoy practical things that have tangible rewards such as working with my hands, cooking, building things, spending time outdoors.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not believe in favorites.. I have enjoyed 1984, the picture of dorian gray, flatland... music is far to vast to list, and I enjoy most movies, I just enjoy some more than others. Im not the type of guy who 'just hates that movie!'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some traveling throughout Bolivia (where I grew up), and I have to say some of the places like the Salar de Uyuni, or the Inca trail (I dont remember any formal name for it) were pretty neat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play some guitar, and really enjoy the kitchen. I would love to learn about art (like painting, or interesting sorts of crafts), re-using materials, architectural things, and many more!
