About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning and experiencing new things or the same things in different ways.

ABOUT ME

I am warm, funny, and responsible. I try not to take life too seriously, you will discover that I can find humor in just about anything. I just finished University with majors in Human Physiology and French. Since I am in between school and the real world, I am especially open to discovering different lifestyles.

Starting in October I will be working and living in Nancy, France, as a language assistant in a primary school. This will be my second time living in France, but my previous experience was as a student.

I am looking forward to new challenges, a new city, and new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone has needs that are specific to themselves, I believe that it is important to recognize these needs and to constantly work at keeping them in balance with the world around you. In addition to knowing myself, I try to understand what balances others and I usually have a deeper respect once it is understood.

Interests

Traveling (of course), music, cooking, reading, movies, water polo, piano, friends, dancing, family, animals, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and snowshoeing.

Instead of focusing on one passion and becoming an expert at it, I have tried several and love them all. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime of being a beginner!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to chose from! Currently my favorite authors are Steinbeck, Kingsolver, and TC Boyle.

The music I've been listening to is a combination of hip hop, blues, funk, country, oldies, bluegrass, folk....but maybe not all of those together.

Movies again are too hard to chose from, I'll watch anything once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Sahara ranks pretty high, especially since the desert is a huge novelty for me.
