Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I just graduated with my phd in Psychology and am
Working as a data analyst for a big corporation, so I try to balance that out with outdoor activities and cool people. I'm also working on my company, Honolulu Wine Company and working towards becoming a certified sommelier.
ABOUT ME
I live with my boyfriend in a cool valley near the center of town. He is from Nice, France and I have been studying French for five years so French people are welcomed (as well as people from all over this large and lovely Earth).
PHILOSOPHY
I just want to make people laugh. At me is OK.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I know how lame a place can be if you don't know anyone there. Let me fix that for you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've loved everyone I've met and look forward to meeting more people who want to share their cultures and stories with me, and I with them.
Interests
WINE (I'm obsessed, I can answer pretty much any question you have about wine), music, history, hearing other people's stories, present time consciousness. I'm a psychologist for a reason, so I'm interested in what you have to say for yourself.
I also love birds and can teach you a lot about the birds of Hawai'i.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Icelandic cinema--specifically Reykjavik 101, Noi, and Children of Nature. As far as music goes, I will forever love PJ Harvey and Xiu Xiu, which is all you need to know instead of me rattling off a long list. I love Scandinavian literature....Knut Hamson!!! Also Southern gothic like Sherwood Anderson and Carson McCullers. More often than not I'm reading some science or history related non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You'll have to ask to find out :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm obsessed with wine shark attacks, lemurs and homelessness. I can tell you a lot of crazy stories about my life as a solo-backpacker, too. If you crash here, get ready for some long chats on the patio.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have lived here for 8 years and have a great network of friends and local knowledge. I love cooking and can make a great dinner with wine. I love showing people the island and teaching them about the history of this place as best I can. We can surf now that summer swell is back!
