ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is JR and I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! I am moved over to Barcelona, Spain for the 2012-2013 year to study International Finance and Languages (Spanish & German) at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled through the majority of North America and the Caribbean for both leisure, charity, sport and work travels. With my most recent travels to Asia and Europe, I am absolutely ecstatic to have lived in Europe and explore everywhere and everything!

I am hoping to travel and explore all around Europe and hopefully Northern Africa this year. The goal, which Couch Surfing I think has the real advantage, is to be able to explore cities with locals. They have the vital knowledge to go beyond the basic sights and sounds of a city and really show visitors the true character that that city has. I would hope to meet some incredible Couch Surfing Hosts over seas that can hopefully come and visit me in Canada some day where I could show you the beautiful Snowy Rocky Mountains that are in my backyard!
