About Me

Backpacker. Wanderer. Nature Lover. Sunset Chaser. Novice Meal Preper. Solo Traveler.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new friends, see and hear about what they think about life, of places they've visited, of things that matter to them.
Experience places like a local. They know the best spots to go to, what food to try and might suggest something not totally legal.

Interests

Talking to people, experience their lives through the stories they tell.
Going to new places and revisiting old ones.
I love sunset, I usually go out of my way to catch one.
I love food and usually splurge on it.
Hike. Long walks. Camping.
Getting lost.. it brings me to unexpectedly awesome places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to Keith Urban and Jack Johnson.
Don't have specific genre on books.. mood dependent.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my waterfall jumps as heights and me are not friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life on all three.

I've traveled enough the Philippines to know how to get around. Let me know if you need help or want suggestions. If I don't it, I'll point you to one who could.

*If you the town you're visiting have motorcycle rental, rent one! If there's none, ask around, someone will. ☺ It's the best way to go around specially if you're on an island.
*Philippines has a lot of festivals or "Fiestas". If you're lucky to be there during those dates, go to one. If you don't like crowded places this is not for you. Almost everyone is out and about. Free food everywhere! http://www.philippinecountry.com/festivals.html
*In the provincial areas, Tindahan / Tiangge / Mini Stores are your lifeline specially if you're on a budget. They sell almost anything and smaller package / fewer quantity.
*If you don't have a place to eat, approach a Tiangge and ask if you can have them cook whatever you buy from them. I did this a couple of times and they did.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I clean up after myself. Not a picky eater and can make & buy my own food, but free food is highly appreciated. I'm also 5-star dish washer. I can talk your ear out and be silent as a mouse if need to.
