ABOUT ME

I'm an ok dude, I suppose. I enjoy the stupidity of my youth and am grateful for the wisdom that comes with its passing. Whatever mind I have left is pretty open and if I were any more laid-back, I'd probably be in a coffin. The majority of those who know me would most likely describe me as a person who will either be loved or detested within the first 5 minutes of meeting. I appreciate the multitude of absurdities that surround me every day and love shamelessly indulging in ridiculous experiences that will one day make entertaining stories for my grandchildren.

Or, as the Doctor himself so eloquently put it:

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the absolute realization and sensation of the The Self to be the greatest achievement anyone can aspire to. And, by 'The Self' I'm not referring to any specific identity or ego or center of consciousness that's locked up in a bag of skin inhabiting a rotating rock called Earth. What I'm talking about is the true Self. The one, indivisible, eternal Self that manifests in the composition of all and as many varying organisms, things, nothings, states, nouns, verbs, gods, numbers, vibrations, and sounds as possible. What greater feat could there be than the blurring and eventual dissolution of the illusory line between oneself and all others?

This, of course, is a fairly lofty goal though, so in the meantime just trying not to be a pain in the ass for the rest of humanity will have to do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a bit new to this project, but from what I can see, it looks great. I'm really just glad to have found such a vast network of friendliness and diversity.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Futons, beanbags, bathtubs...you name it, chances are I've surfed/crashed/drooled on it. As a host, my living room/kitchen floors have served as official after-party refugee camps for longer than I can remember. As a kid I loved sleepovers and having people drop by and I'm glad I never out grew this.
