ABOUT ME

Living it up in Japan and enjoying life in general. Currently, I am living in Tokyo and enjoy great food and drinks - especially with good conversation - and long walks around the city. I'm always interested in getting to know new people and learning about new cultures.

Ich bin einer der wenigen Amis, die es schaffen, fuer eine laengere Zeit im Ausland zu leben. Ich habe insgesamt 4 Jahre lang in Deutschland gelebt und wohne seit 2013 in Japan. Ich bin immer bereit, neue Freunde kennen zu lernen und ueber neue Kulturen zu lernen.

You might be able to sleep when you're dead, but it's not quite as enjoyable when you're underground or a pile of ashes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Willing to show people around whatever place I happen to live in at the time and introduce new restaurants and types of food.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a number of people over the last few years and been able to keep up with a few of them. I've had excellent experiences and am always meeting new people from everywhere in the world.

Interests

Languages (German, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, etc.) - all languages are equally interesting! I also like to read, go for long walks with friends during which we can discuss whatever is on our minds, and eat delicious foods from every part of the world - especially spicy food. The spicier, the better!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've eaten fried scorpions and grasshoppers on a stick at Wang Fu Jing, Beijing. It's kind of an interesting feeling, but the taste is nothing very special.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I haven't been living in Tokyo for very long, but I've lived in other parts of Japan and the world, so I have a little bit of knowledge of how things work. Also, since I haven't been here very long, there are lots of things I haven't personally done. I have a long list of different things I want to experience in Japan, so I would love to accompany you while you explore.
