About Me

CURRENT MISSION

All The World is a (Lyric) Stage!

ABOUT ME

I am a Tenor studying exclusively the art of vocal performance. I am a performer by nature. I have done theatre, musicals, film, radio, TV, opera, operetta, oratorio, recital, and song cycles; basically anything that has to do with acting and music, i love. (unfortunately i was not gifted with the ability of visual art or dance.) I worked at a fondue restaurant and managed locally owned coffee shops. I love trivia, hiking, and languages, sponteneity, making new friends, and im usually up for just about anything. Being an opera singer, i have studied italian for a while and hope to eventually live in Italy. I would rather live out of a suitcase than call any one place home. I love conversation and meeting new people, especially ones that share the addiction to coffee that i have.

PHILOSOPHY

you could get hit by a bus tomorrow, there is no use in being timid:)

I truly trust the good in people, and i trust that the universe will provide.

I am a rabidly liberal thinker and while im not offensive to or offended by opposing religions and political stances, if my opinion is requested, be assured that it will be delivered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to use this service to be of assistance to travelers and also to be able to immerse myself in cultures different from the one that I am currently a part of. I hope to meet wonderful people from all over the world, and gain an understanding of their ways of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in hawaii for about 6 years, 5 of which were with my family. my last year of high school i moved from one friend's house to another, and enjoyed the constant change of scenery. I love the notion that you are not tied down, and that it is a symbiotic relationship between host and guest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love psychological and religious horror, fantasy, screen/plays,comedy, books that take 100 pages to discribe 10 minutes of plot, in imagery filled text. Classical music, Jazz, oldies (60s/70s), Broadway Showtunes, Celtic music, Basically anything but hip hop and rap. I like lots of movies, but especially ones that make you think.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii, and have walked out onto an active volcano and have stood within feet of the molten lava. My friend took a broomstick and got some of the lava and spun it into a bowl as it cooled. I have melted-soled shoes to prove it.

Teach, Learn, Share

The secret to fondue is the double boiler. The electric fondue pots dont work. they burn the cheese and the chocolate. If you take a normal sauce pan and a silver mixing bowl, you can make any sort of cheese or chocolate that you like. (i prefer ghirardelli dark chocolate with chambord)
