HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting all of the wonderful people opening up their homes to guests and helping them with something they need or want, even if it's just a vicarious travel partner. I've also enjoyed hosting a couple of times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on a lot of couches, mostly friends and family. I've also used Couchsurfing a few dozen times. Loved it every time.

Lots of movies, lots of music (you can be sure I'm smiling and tappin' to the beat no matter what's in my ear), and lots of books. Usually documentaries or something recommended, non-fiction books.

I enjoy thinking and learning about the world, big picture. Politics, religion, philosophy. I've gone to school to learn about business, finance, real estate, hopefully to change the system from the inside. Or, my two halves are battling. I'd love to learn different languages (Spanish, Hebrew, Russian) and how to cook better.
