About Me

My current goal is to live a life of continuous flow. I've had an incredible amount of growth over the past year, and I'm learning something new about The Universe everyday. I spend most of my time connecting with wonderful people, flowing with Poi and my Dragon Staff, hanging out in parks or the beach, and generally getting into all sorts of adventures ;-). I try hard to keep an open mind and to receive life fully, and I love meeting new people of all walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been couchsurfing for over 5 years now and I've made many friends for life through it. It's simply one of the best ways to genuinely connect with awesome people. I unfortunately am not in a position to host surfers here in SF, but I hope to be soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I designed and built a 20 foot steel cubic jungle gym for Burning Man 2015.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my favorite things to teach and share is how to spin Poi and my Dragon staff - both are fire spinning props, or "flow toys", and you can see them in a few of my pictures. I love them because they help me get into a flow state; a state where time stops and there is only you. I also love creating things when I get inspired to do so - I have a background in mechanical engineering and this year for burning man I'm building a 20 foot tall interactive steel sculpture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Everything! Most people would say I live a pretty crazy life. I follow my heart with infinite courage, and that means I'm often living in pretty unorthodox ways. One of my goals in life is to help others follow their hearts as much as possible, and this is something I love talking about and sharing with everyone I meet.
