ABOUT ME
Born/raised (razed?) in MAJESTIC Appleton, Wisconsin, USA. Delivered some newspapers, delivered some pizzas, worked nights at a motel. Haven't cut my hair since I shaved it the day before I became a man and went vegetarian 11 years ago. Moved to New York City, learned about film and psychology and chaos. Wrote a play in London at 22. Survived Minneapolis's worst winter. Scraped Los Angeles until it cried. Moved to Nebraska to write/direct/produce/act/edit my first feature film, a transgressive juvenile delinquent post-doo-wop slapstick hangout movie...COMING SOON. A relatively free man now, back in LA, making up videos, plays, acting, music, stories, jokes. I surf below the surface. I eat vegan. My soul is a starving nyctophile coyote who hangs out at carnivals and dreams of never sleeping, just all night ferris wheel/cotton candy/roller boogie, repeat. I’m actually an introvert and aim to release attachment, but I love connecting with the world beneath the surface (it’s just nice to catch my breath and absorb the intensity periodically).

Mad to live, intoxicated by humanity, the animal world, nature. Trippin' on oxygen, terrain, sensation, motivation. In awe of real people and the dexterity of skateboarders. Jet around the world and shock into as many strange situations as possible.

PHILOSOPHY
We'll never get out of this world alive. GIVE and THRIVE. Laugh at everything, connect, and share it with others. Harm no one, fear no one. "It's what you learn after you know it all that counts." ENGAGE in the present. Refuse to be safe/sated/satiated/sedated. PEACE/POWER/PASSION/PUSH/POSITIVE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being alive on a daily basis is a wild trip. Cruising through some unknown realm at dusk with no place to be might be the most transcendent experience I’ve known.

Tenerife is paradise on earth, reckon. Ocean and mountains and people and trees.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe I can teach something related to movies, theatre, music, or certain sports. Meditation/yoga. Happiness and the art of being a zen badass 24/7/365 (ha). I speak decent English y un poco de Español. I've got stories. I know some blackjack strategy. I love food and am vegan so maybe I can whip up some badass dish which will allow us time to BOND...

I love discovering who people are, how they got there, where they're going. New experiences. I'm open.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I aim to be a highly conscientious and flexible guest - up for almost anything and glad to lend a hand wherever I can. Sharing experiences means a lot, and I'm much obliged to hold up my end of hospitality. Hosting shouldn't be stressful - I try to leave every place in better condition than it was when I arrived :D
