I have been described by friends and family as a happy, friendly, spontaneous, outgoing, social, kind, silly, funny, positive, brave and motivated person. I think all of those are pretty accurate....especially the funny part ;) I try to identify with people and dont have a hard time connecting and making new friends. Life is all about the experiences you make. A large part of that is meeting people and finding that common interest that you share and learning from each others differences. I want to see, learn, experience and live everyday to the fullest. Life is toooo short for everything I want to do, but I'm going to try! I'm also a big believer in KARMA so i try to always keep that in mind. If you put out positive energy, good things will come your way.....and vice-versa so negativity isnt something I like in my life. The last thing I want to happen is to be at the end of my life thinking, "I wish I would have done this or tried that". So if I want to do something, I usually work to make it possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is good. Experience it to the fullest.

Do not follow the path. Instead, go where there is no path to begin the trail.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed couches in Costa Rica, Argentina, Thailand, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, and Ecuador and met some other quality people through couchsurfing for drinks or new friendships. The people I have met have been amazing and its great to stay with people who are familiar with the area who can direct you to things you may not otherwise find on your own. Couchsurfing has enriched my traveling experience and brought a lot of new and interesting friends into my life I wouldn't have otherwise met. Its all about sharing....and sharing is caring :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my experiences so far have been extremely positive. I have even made some new friends that I have stayed in touch with and will hopefully travel with again in the future. In fact, through one host, I have met a huge new group of friends who I spend most of my time visiting when I am back in the states. What an amazing connection this one host has opened up so many friendships to me. I am a huge fan and supporter of couchsurfing. I am continually amazed by the generosity and hospitality I have been shown by people all over the world that I have been connected to through couchsurfing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Holding baby sea turtles while they hatch and then released them in to the sea. That felt pretty amazing....
Then volunteering at a turtle project and watching the turtles nest....
Then bringing it full circle and swimming with them in the sea in Indonesia. LOVE the turtles. Help save them!!!

Caring for sloths and monkeys in various nature reserves in Central and South America

The full moon walk over Iguazu Falls. INCREDIBLE!!!!

Slow boat journey through the Amazon from Brazil to Colombia to Peru.

Watched the Solar Eclipse in 2017 and it was the most awesome natural phenomenon I have ever seen.

I am interested in improving my Spanish skills in conversation. I am curious about various people's spirituality, rituals and religions. I want to volunteer in some way in every country I visit. I just started hooping this year and am happy to show you how to make a hoop and start yourself on that path. I've got a wide range of song lyrics and movie quotes in my head. Pretty useless but entertaining for sure :) I really enjoy cooking and would be more than happy to cook a meal or 2 for my host as a offering of gratitude for welcoming me into their home!
