Overview
About Me
I've had a somewhat eclectic life. I spent some years traveling and moving around. For the past few years I have been working on a small family farm in Canada's heartland. These days, I have given up my home in Portugal to do some wider travels.
I enjoy the simple things in life. Recently I've taken a keen interest in learning about the history of the early twentieth century and through learning about that, I have gained a lot of perspective on our modern society and our (generally) over-complicated manner of approaching things. I won't make you listen to all that though.
We play music as much as possible, and we're always ready to play music or see a live show. If you know of any good shows coming up, let us know.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet new people and couch surfing has allowed me to meet so many people that I likely wouldn't have otherwise. I truly appreciate when people take the time to meet, or take me into their homes and I try my best to reciprocate that appreciation.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to watch live music and play as much as possible. I've also been playing classical violin for 17 years, which included playing with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra.
If you play any music, let's get some instruments going and let's see what happens.
I'd attempt to make a list of books I enjoy, but I feel it simply come up short. Hemingway, Ted Simon, Edward Abbey, George Orwell, Voltaire and Nietzsche are all favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Still working on this...
Teach, Learn, Share
Hopefully I can tell some stories, especially if anyone has questions about agriculture or flying. Bring an instrument and let's play some music.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good stories, a laugh and a drink. And maybe a flight, another drink and a song.
