Again, off the top of my head, favorite books include God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater by Kurt Vonnegut, Nine Stories by J.D. Salinger, The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, Candide by Voltaire, Straight Man by Richard Russo

Some movies: The Squid and the Whale, The Royal Tenenbaums, Office Space, Wedding Crashers, Die Hard, but I don't watch movies as much as I used to.

I took the Strengths Finder test once and I have the strength of input, which means just about anything interests me.

As far as what I could share...in studying Alfred Adler, I learned the importance of a formative goal (a goal that you cannot necessarily achieve, but leaves you better off the more you work toward it, like "attaining world peace"). My formative goal is to be a selfless person. I think a lot of it has helped me to understand life in a "being" sense as opposed to a "doing" or "having."
