As of now I have only surfed, but since I've moved to the Mediterranean, I would like to start hosting to help people see the beauty of the Balearic Islands in any way I can!

Interests

I am down to try mostly anything, at least once- new people, places, outdoors, indoors and especially all kinds of foods and drink. I have played softball and volleyball for many years and enjoy figure skating and LOVE skiing when the weather is appropriate. At any chance I get, I try to improve my Spanish speaking skills. I also like dogs, cats, other animals- domestic or exotic.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: favor rap/hip hop, but I find myself getting catchy pop songs stuck in my head, and also like some electronica and rock.
Books: My favorite book lately has been the Let's Go Europe 2010 travel guide :), and am also currently reading Mike Davis' Planet of Slums
Movies: no specific preference and am usually easily entertained by most, although spend more time watching TV shows than movies, like The Sopranos and Burn Notice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I live amongst the tallest trees in the world in the Redwood National Park in Humboldt County, California.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can dye hair, speak Spanish, knit scarves, make delicious smoothies (among some other foods and drinks) and am willing to share these, along with my experiences with whoever interested, but am also always looking to learn something new to impress myself and others.
