I will you tell all about me once I get to talk to you ;)
But for the short story, I grew up in France, studied in France and Germany. I now live and work as a scientist in the USA and take every opportunity to discover new parts of the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got pretty active with my fellow CouchSurfers of ROckford, IL and even if I can't host at the moment, I hope to be able to do it in the near future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first Couchsurfing experience happened this summer, in Canada, and it is a memorable one :)
I am used to have friends couchsurfing at my place and I am used to couchsurf at friends' place all over the world. But the Couchsurfing experience is an excellent way to connect with other people and other cultures, and I am excited about all those new experiences to come.

Interessen

I am interested by everything that is worthy being interested for.
But to be more precise, I love to travel and discover all around the world, I didn't mention all the places I did visit so far, but I can tell you that there is no place on earth I don't want to visit.
I love cooking and experiencing new cooking experiences from all over the world.
I love to learn about geography, history, philosophy. I love movies, books and art in general. Everyting that is worth understanding, feeling, thinking about or fighting for (without violence of course).
I like interacting respectfully with people and having constructive discussions, even if we don't agree.
And I am very interested in making the world a better place to live and improving our way to interact with other people and objects.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

From classical music to garage-rock and electronical music, from classical to contemporary views of the world, I am interested by everything as long as it doesn't let me indifferent but lead me to contemplation, emotion, reflexion or action.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I always had enough to eat and drink, a place to sleep, a loving family and some close friends, and that is pretty amazing in itself.
