My name is José, 23 years old from Panama and yes I'm asian guy. My parents are Asian but I was born and I have lived all my youth in Panama, a country in Central America. Have you ever heard about the Panama Canal? Well, I come from that country.

I'm a student of Electronics and telecommunications Engineering, I'm interested in the area of signal processing, images and videos. In addition to the research and development company in SW and HW to strengthen my knowledge and technical experience in the work area.

I also like to take, edit pictures, make memories with a small camera that I have (Just collecting memories). At the moment I'm doing an internship for a year in Bilbao, Spain. During my stay I have traveled part of southern Spain, France, Portugal.

I really like doing hiking, visiting waterfalls, going to the gym, cooking and most importantly visiting natural places.

I'm on Couchsurfing, because I'm passionate about getting to know other cultures, other ways of thinking, people and the multiple stories they can tell me about their life, also me from my adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like listening to acoustic songs to edit photos, videos or think a bit. I usually listen to any type of music, from reggaeton to program to rock to take a shower.

I really like science fiction movies: superheroes, villains, trips to the future or past, trips to another universe, stories of love and self-improvement, etc.

I like reading sagas books about science fiction, other realities and also about self help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've done in my 23 years is to buy my first plane ticket with the money I saved from my first job for a while. I have gone far for 9 days, I just bought the plane tickets and decided to travel 5 cities in southern Spain and Portugal on my own.
