About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and let live!

ABOUT ME

I consider myself as an extremely lucky person living my dream, sharing the best from and with the people and places come across my path. Living in a many different cultures made me more curious, accepting and patient towards the new and the unknown. I made the first independent move in 1994, the bigger one in 2003 and keep moving since then... as long as the sun shines and the wind blows.
Don't see myself as a revolutionist, although believe the small changes make a huge difference. Love staying away from massive civilization, being around children and animals, hot places, mountains, red wine, coffee; don't like wearing shoes!!!

PHILOSOPHY

*Home isn't a place - it's a feeling.

*The unexpected is always just around the corner and I assume that's what I love about this fleeting life journey the most.

*Never cry because it's over, rather smile because it happened.

*"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." - Jimmy Hendrix.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Due to the wandering life i often find myself sharing space and time with friends. Therefore i respect my own and others' privacy.

Interests

Life in general. I love to live in a new cultures and learn their nuances and languages through the people rather than from the books. I appreciate all kinds of art, specially folk arts, love photography and jewelry designing. I am not a religious person at all, but am interested a lot in theology. Volunteering and... dancing!

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies and books - i appreciate an expression of weird, surrealistic imagination (ex. Haruki Murakami, Micheal Bulgakov...) or philosophy (ex. Umberto Eco, Gabi Nitzan...); recently have seen "Into the Wild", which deeply touched my heart.
For music - i love retro, jazz, rock'n'roll, folk, all kinds of gypsy music, Arabic, Latin-American and African rhythms, reggae, throat singing, drums, mouth harp (love to play it as much as to listen) and other ethnic instruments...
