CURRENT TRIP

Me and my lovely partner Patricia and our 1 year old Konrad are traveling to Japan! I love Japan and have been there several times but this will be their first trip so I really want to show them what a lovely place and how many kind people there are! We will mostly travel around, eat great food, go to onsen and hopefully meet some new friends! We are also spending a few days at Tokyo Game Show to show the game that I work on and meeting other game developers.

ABOUT ME

I love traveling and meeting people! I love getting to know people and see new cultures. I am a Swedish game developer working mostly from home with my lovely family in rural Sweden.

Patricia is a psychology student from Germany, loves yoga, cooking, reading, her cat and most of all her baby Konrad and is super excited to explore Japan and learn some Japanese.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is what you make it out to be! Don't get stuck in the mainstream pattern just because everyone else is doing it! Keep a smile on your face and things will work out!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed quite a bit many years ago and loved it so much and want to get back into it! Sadly the new version still doesn't have map search so not many people find their way to our rural house, but we have lots of space and welcome guests to hang out with us, have a sauna by the lake and walk in the Swedish forests. Couchsurfing has been all fantastic experiences so far and I hope for many more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amazing experiences all around! Both as a surfer on trips to Japan, and hosting guests in our home in rural Sweden. Hopefully we will meet new friends while surfing that want to come and stay with us one day as well!

I have surfed some couches in Japan and they have all been fantastic in every single way, thank you all so much!

Snorkeling, Swimming, Traveling, Game Development, Camping, Pathfinding, Software design, Movies, Anime.. and sooo many other things, this world is so full of wonderful things!

I really love sauna and hotsprings (onsen while in japan). I use my sauna about twice a week all year round. In the summer when it never really gets dark, and in the winter when it's dark at 4 in the afternoon and we have to make a hole in the ice to cool off. Would love to let you experience a true Swedish sauna!

My trips to Japan, met lots of awesome people and I love onsen!
Sweden is great too though! Summer is the best, but mid winter is also great! It's beautiful and snowboarding is fun. If you are into sauna maybe you would like to jump in an ice lake with me after the sauna? I built a sauna close to a lake where I grew up.

I've also met some of my heroes and game developer legends because of my job, I can tell you about them if we meet :)
