ABOUT ME
Only child wandering. Grew up in a fairly small town in Kansas, went to school in a smaller town in Kansas and then in Texas, worked 2 summers in Arizona at Lake Powell, lived and taught English in South Korea, worked at a zipline in Branson, Missouri, and perma-sub in the Kansas City area, and now live in the same town my dad grew up in. While in Texas I got involved with Outdoor Adventure where I started climbing, backpacking, and attempting disc golf.
I'm very laid back but can get competitive when it comes to sports. Spring and fall are my favorite seasons because of the colors and the temperature. I'm happiest outside, in the sun, sleeping, and wandering. I have been called a hippy, gypsy, and tree hugger. Kansas jokes never get old...okay maybe sometimes. Music and the sound of storms/rain are amazing.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body , but rather to skid in broadside , thoroughly used up , totally worn out & loudly proclaiming--WOW--WHAT A RIDE !"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After hurricane Katrina in 2005 I went on a mission trip with my church to the Ninth Ward in New Orleans. We cleaned out 3 houses and stayed in the Ninth Ward tent city. Helping those 3 families do something that they could not have done for themselves as quickly as the 15 of us did was the best feeling ever.
