About Me

Hi, I'm Julia! I come from Częstochowa, but currently live in Poznań, Poland where I study at the university. I'm mostly interested in learning languages, travelling and nature. I also love reading books, taking pictures, listening to music, watching tv-series and memes :') I'm calm, responsible, friendly and open person, I like meeting new people and learning more about different cultures, although I'm not typical 'the life of the party'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's an amazing place to meet people, share culture and learn something new about the world! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

-I try not to limit myself to one particular music genre. I like mainly electronic/chillout/trap/rap music, but I also like some metal, jazz or 80's pop songs - it depends on my mood :D My favourite artists are iamamiwhoami, FKA twigs, Taco Hemingway, SOHN, joji, Yaeji, Tommy Cash and Ghost.
-When it comes to tv series, I love "Mr. Robot", "Game of Thrones", "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" and "Bojack Horseman".
-Films: "The Lobster", "District 9", "Dogville", "Amelie", "Donnie Darko", "El laberinto del fuauno", "Perfume: The Story of a Murderer"
-I also prefer to read fantasy books, but honestly - can read almost everything! My all-time favourites are: "Master and Margarita", "Animal Farm", "Futu.re", "The Little Prince", "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga and also Maja Lidia Kossakowska's books (especially her angel-themed series).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most weird and amazing thing I've done was deciding to learn Finnish - beautiful, but also hard language that sounds like some elves speech :')

What I Can Share with Hosts

It would be a pleasure to meet some new people and talk about our cultures, languages, interests and experiences. I can make some Polish food, bring Polish sweets to your country or show you the city - if you'd be interested in coming to Poznań :)
