About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel around as much as possible... Keep a list of all the food we miss
ABOUT ME
Attempting to convert my profile to include my wife, K.C. We met in law school out in San Francisco... We got married in August, 2012 and are hitting the road for 4 month backpacking honeymoon through Southeast Asia, followed by 3-4 months in Central/South America, then maybe looking to move to Nashville. We shall see.
We're both very easy going and friendly, creative and fun, adventurous... "Didn't so much give up on being a kid, more just learned to pass as adult if I have to" was always a favorite self-descriptive quote.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on that one...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
CouchSurfed through (mostly) Western Europe in 2006/07, was constantly impressed by people's hospitality and attitudes of opening up their homes to travelers.
I've hosted a few times (half dozen, maybe)in San Francisco in 2007/08 until the combination of working full time/law school made it kind of difficult to, well, function in normal society :P...
Attempted to host in Mississippi (where we lived for a year), but we were in a trailer, so, not most people's cup of tea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some books that both of us have enjoyed recently: Christopher Moore's "Lamb," Daniel Quinn's "Ishmael," The Man Who Quit Money. Tom Robbins books are always good. Just read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy for the first time, really enjoyed it. Chuck Palahniuk, Ken Kesey, Thich Nhat Hanh are some other authors K.C. and/or I enjoy.
Music - We both have very varied tastes; not into everything, but into quite a bit of this and that.
At this point it's whatever we've been able to fit on to our Nooks and ipods.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode horses under a full moon in the Giza desert with my brother a few years back.
Waking up on the Mediterranean, going for a dip in the sea before morning coffee - never got tired of that; quite a way to start the day.
