ABOUT ME

NOTE - I don't live in Leeds, I live in Knaresborough, between Leeds and York. Often in Leeds for work, though! Apologies if slow replies - I never get notifications on my phone for some reason.

I work as a translator/interpreter and data reporter at football matches.

I love music, travelling, football, reading, speaking languages, visiting as many places as possible and hanging out and having a beer!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can show people around Knaresborough, England, where i'm living at the moment, and host - weekdays are best. I can teach languages and endless pointless music and football trivia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed in cartagena, spain, for three nights back in january 2011, had an awesome time! later that year i was hosted in buenos aires, montevideo and sao paulo, all great experiences too. in 2014 i surfed in gijon and burgos, which again were awesome times. Again in denmark in june 2015 - once again, great people. gobowen in england in october and talavera de la reina and mérida in spain in december were my other CS experiences of 2015. in 2016 i surfed in oviedo, el barco de valdeorras, braga, guimaraes, stockholm, zafra and cáceres. so far in 2017 i've surfed in león, malpica, vigo (spain) and iasi and bucharest (romania) - all really fun too.

I’ve hosted a couple of times and keen to welcome more people to Knaresborough!

i'm extremely grateful to everyone i have ever surfed with - i can't thank any of you enough, it's without doubt the best way to travel and meet people and every time i go couchsurfing it makes me feel great about the human race and people in general, the kindness, openness and warmth of strangers is a wonderful thing.
