ABOUT ME
Born and raised Wisconsinite just out roamin´around. Full time dreamer and part time english teacher. Lover of all things hot, melty, and non dairy cheesy. Seeker of strange and amusing adventures. Total chatterbox. Attempting to not sound like a twat when describing myself on the internet (you´ll have to let me know how that is working out for me).
PHILOSOPHY
"In my body and in my soul I realized that I greatly need sin, I needed lust, vanity, the striving for goods, and I needed the most shameful despair to learn how to give up resistance, to learn how to love the world, to stop comparing the world with any world that I wish for, that I imagine, with any perfection that I think up; I learned to let the world be as it is, and to love it and to belong to it gladly."
Hermann Hesse
"Everything in moderation, including moderation."
"Without music, life would be a mistake."
Friedrich Nietzsche

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met, stayed with and hosted a few lovely folks and had incredible experiences! I think couchsurfing is truly one of the best ways to meet new people, learn more about a culture other than you own and make new friends. It is a great experience to both learn and share with someone you otherwise might not have had the opportunity to meet.

Music is a huge part of my life. I have many favorites but a few are Radiohead, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, The Flaming Lips, Old 97s, Bob Dylan, Wilco, Fleet Foxes, Ryan Adams, Sigur Rós, Kendrick Lamar, Killer Mike, LCD Soundsystem, Outkast, Daft Punk, My Morning Jacket, No Doubt, Ellie Goulding, Death Grips, James Blake, The Morning Benders, Beyoncé, the list goes on and on and on...
Siddhartha, Slaughter House Five, The Catcher in the Rye, The Great Gatsby, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, The Alchemist
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Loved and been loved. Learned some language. Ridden my bike around the city in my underwear. Skinny dipped in the Mediterranean. Said ´fuck you´to a few of my fears. Somehow still alive to tell the tales after all the rides from strangers, chance encounters and massive nights.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - I can teach you some english, seeing as that as my job! I can also teach you some cheesy jokes, how to swim, and a lot about Wisconsin!
Learn - I am working hard at learning/practicing more Spanish! I would also love to learn whatever it is that you might want to teach me, especially if it's cooking related. I'd also love to learn how to stop losing my phone but I don't know if anyone here can teach me that...
Share - Everything! No really, if I've got something, wether it be a story, a bottle of wine, or an umbrella during a rainstorm, I'm likely going to want to share it with you. My favorite thing to share though is good music so I´d love to chat about that with you if you like!
