Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience life in the moment
ABOUT ME
Married computer security propellerhead that does a decent job of communicating with people in real life. My wife and I have a kid, a couch in the basement den, and a guest room with an uncomfortable futon to share with anyone who will show our home the same respect we show it. Bonus points if you like good coffee (or homebrewed beer!) and a conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
To meet good people.
To experience new things and grow in unexpected ways.
To find peace wherever I may be.
If possible, do all of that over good coffee, beer and wine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My wife and I are out to find great people with different experiences who are willing to share, and who would like us to do the same.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We've hosted a few CSers and one individual from globalfreeloaders.com. Of course, we've had friends crash at our place a number of times.
We also stayed with a great lady out in Petaluma, CA. We had a blast!

Curling (the kind on ice, not weightlifting)
Hacking (legally with permission, of course)

Music, Movies, and Books
My music tastes are all over, but I steer clear of pop and modern country for the most part. Faves: Radiohead, NiN, Beck, Johnny Cash, Portishead.
I'll watch just about anything once. Even sappy, cheese-filled teeny-bopper predictable flicks. I prefer something that makes me think, but that's not to say I require subtitles to enjoy a movie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Met the woman of my dreams and married her.
We rolled a Honda Civic at 70 MPH on our way to a friend's cabin, where I later learned to waterski.
We went skydiving together.
I learned to drive a motorcycle
We spent our 1 year anniversary on a 7 day cycling tour in Ireland. (FABULOUS! I highly recommend Irish Cycling Safaris)
Spent a week in Hawaii and a week in Japan.
Brought a wonderful little girl into this world.
Moved into a fabulous house with more room for kids and sufers.
