Finish School, Create a Career, Save the World.

ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Joey. I'm a junior at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and headed to Hong Kong for a semester abroad in Spring '12.

PHILOSOPHY

People are easily led astray and the earth is too crowded. Treat others as you would be treated, use knowledge to solve problems, and contribute something to your history.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went on a 30 day road trip using only greyhound buses and saw all these cities on my winter break of freshman year: New York City, Cleveland, Baltimore, Washington DC, New Orleans, Charleston, Savannah, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Long Beach. I never stayed in a hotel, and toured around every city on foot. Message me if you're curious and I'd be happy to tell you more.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

The world is quickly depleting of resources. The first world is in a position where resources are drained from the third world to sustain our wealth, and then coaxed into ignorance of and acquiescence to the institutions that uphold that world structure. I'm not talking NWO or any conspiracy stuff. More than 1 in 6 people do not have access to adequate drinking water and sanitation. We have the technology to implement widespread sustainable energy, zero emission cars, ubiquitous clean water and electricity, and almost enough food. Overpopulation and mismanagement of resources is steering the planet towards disaster. I joined Engineers Without Borders with a mission to fix the course, and create REAL sustainable infrastructure so humanity can live for many more centuries. You can find out more and make a world of difference just by researching how the rest of the world lives, and making a small commitment to help some organization that addresses a problem you're concerned about. It's still possible, and I'd love to have a conversation with you about it.
