I am open-minded, but I like education (on time, clean,...).I am positive.

I love traveling. I lived 5 years in 5 different countries.

I love to meet other cultures. At 21 years old, my fiance and I bought a house of 4 bedrooms. During 10 years,we rented 3 bedrooms to foreign students.

PHILOSOPHY

Live today, but also plan now for tomorrow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have 25 years of experiences before being a member of CS.

The last example is someone I met in a dormitory in Athens. He is from Perou. His stay in my house was super.

In Venezia (Italy), I met a couple from Algeria, 20 years ago. I staid 2 weeks at their home for their weeding in Algeria. They have done their honey moon trip in my apartment in Paris. 20 years after, we are still in contact.

I invited also a couple from Canada 25 years ago. They will come back in my house in Paris at the end of 2010.

Interests

I love Greece. The ancient Greek civilization is the foundation of the occidental societies for their science, politic, social and philosophy.

I love traveling, even with few money. With my fiance, we did half round USA and all round Australia, living in a car. My fiance was chinese having 11 brothers/sisters in all the world. We visited them. As you can see, I love different cultures.

I like just being with friends or with my family, talking about a subject.

I like the sea (swimming,sailing boat), the mountain (for the sky or just for a walk). I like the cities (museums, parties,...), but I also like the countryside for the nature and the calm.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: all movies except the ones with violence.

Music: all music until 1990: rock, latin, blues, jazz, reggae, folk, country,...
I like classical music, but I don't like opera.
I don't like the new music: techno,...

Books: lot of poems
Now, my favorite writer is Hemingway. He lived a succession of different lifes: Spain with the war, Cuba, Africa... and wrote each time books from his experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My neighbor in Paris wanted to go to a concert in Berlin. No plane were available. He asked me to help him: we drove Paris/Berlin on saturday, and Berlin/Paris on sunday.

In Vietnam, 20 years ago, (very communist country at that time), taxis for tourists were able to go only to nice areas. I succeed to enter a taxi for local people that could go everywhere. I was hided in the taxi, not to be seen by the police. But I don't do anymore this kind of thing.

I can teach you french cooking, some little knowledge about french culture.
