About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discover the world...and catching moments with my LOMO
ABOUT ME
Hey, Hola, Salut, Hej,... :)
As I was always interested in other countries, languages and experiencing different ways of living, couchsurfing caught me from the very beginning.
I absolutely love cooking and trying national specialities. During a workcamp in Iceland I found out that you can cook almost everything without a recipe (and that tuna matches with lots of things, by the way°°). Then I went to Canada and got blasted, Toronto offers almost any type of ethnic cuisine, which I tried to enjoy as much as I can. I also have a book where I write down my favourite recipes, so hopefully I can add your favourite one, too!
I also enjoywalking through foreign cities (best would be with my LOMO camera), trying to discover the speciality of it. Getting a little bit lost just helps you seeing things you'd normally not discover.
Tourist-spots and 'typical sightseeing' is not that much my sort of thing... I am not a fan of masses of people, you'll rather find me in a park or somewhere else, lying in the grass/sitting on stairs or on the ground, with a book or a magazine in my hands.
I like almost every kind of sports, most preferred are Yoga and Running. Hiking through the nature and being on top of a mountain is also something that makes my day.
I love conversations becoming more and more profoundly.
But otherwise, give me some good music and I start dancing...
I'm a grown-up human being, so don't worry: As much as I'd love to spend time with my host and talk/party/do any activity, you don't have to entertain me.
I would describe myself as open-minded and honest, more practical-oriented than dramadrama.
PHILOSOPHY
be good - do good
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Two really nice guys hosted me in Reykjavik.
It gave me a deep insight in icelandic life, and I got a lot of insider tips. They even took me to a party. Pretty amazing. In their apartement, I found out that it IS possible to prepare a lasagne even if the kitchen is quasi not existing... ;)
Also, in Konstanz, we sometimes hosted people in our flat - it was always fun!

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES: hard to say as there is not "one favorite".
All in all, as long as it's no typical hollywood movie - I'm fine. Maybe I like austrian movies the most - they're often sarcastic and ironic in a special way.
MUSIC: Ohhh this is difficult, I love festivals to hear new bands that aren't well-known. Genres: indie, folk, rock and electro/minimalism, but also 'oldies'.
BOOKS: I started reading when I was 5 years old - and I loved it, so I've read so many... not gonna list them all here. ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Took a shower in an icelandic waterfall - freeeezing and for 10 sec only, but it was great!
Teach, Learn, Share
What I'd like to share:
I'm able to make yeast dough without a recipe - with that you can do almost everything: pizza, brioche, sweet dumplings,... and much more things about food (not just german recipes, hihi)
Sewing (well, just basic skills)
How to plant trees ;)
Yoga spirit
