About Me

I am an Argentinean guy who has recently moved to US where I am doing my grad studies. I have had several experiences living abroad and some of them are unforgettable, they have definitely shown me how small we are and how fast the time runs! I got my degree in Geological Sciences in my Province (San Juan) in Argentina which it is in the center-west of the country. Having chosen that I became a fan of everything related to outdoor activities, and cannot live enclosed I think. Hiking, riding the bike, going to the park, walking or meeting with friends is what I love and enjoy!

PHILOSOPHY
Being flexible is one of my premises, things change and you need to get used to it. I find myself relaxed doing sports or being in motion! I like to enjoy my friends, family and each moment I spend with them...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing in 2013 when I was traveling around Europe, the beginning was strange thinking about this, but since the first experience, all my perspective changed. I must say that is the best way to know and interact with so many people and get friendships easily all around the world. I have hosted guys in my hometown and since then we still keep in touch, even they hosted me when I went to their countries! This way allows to know places and people from a different manner and sometimes being part of their families or activities!
Being in touch with friends, learning about countries, customs, people and ideas and above all enrich my soul is part of my goal!

Music, Movies, and Books

I would say that hard rock is not my favorite one, but I definitely love Argentine rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love the mountainous regions where you can easily take trails or spend some days camping. Where I live, the Andes mountain surrounds all my region so I have walked a great part of them with snow, wind, rain or heat. However, the most unforgettable memory is to have been at 6000msnm close to Aconcagua peak in one of the most exciting and amazing area in the high Andes of Argentina!

Teach, Learn, Share

Share experiences and how to describe rocks as a good Geologist does, is one of my favorites. Culture and Geography of my Province or Country is another thing that I love doing when I am abroad.
