Even though my name is Juan-Carlos, I am not fluent in Spanish. My Dad is Colombian but I never wanted to learn to speak it when I was a kid. I'm kicking myself for that now!

I majored in film. I love stories and think some of the best come from real life. I'm about to take off for Europe and I'm hoping to make this trip last as long as I can (or at least into January so I can spend the new year somewhere fun and exotic!)

I want to see good things happen in this world. I love to see people helping each other, making others smile. I hope to do this too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to experience life in every part of the world, even if only for a day or two. I'm looking to make friends with the people I meet on CS. I don't necessarily need to hang out with my hosts, but chances are if I'm requesting to stay with you it is because I've read your profile and think we would get along.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I became scuba certified in Roatan, Honduras. Diving around the reefs there was the most beautiful thing I have ever done. Even though I haven't had the chance to dive since, I still dream of the being under water and the weightlessness and new dimensions the it allows you.
