Overview
About Me
I never really traveled growing up because we just couldn't. It wasn't until I moved to Austin that I realized that I had grown up in a bubble. I've been saving up to take some life-changing trips now that I am fortunate to have a great job.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From what I've heard, couch surfing is the best way to truly experience a place. My mom always says that "cada cabeza es un mundo" which translates to "every mind is its own world". Going to different places in the world and sharing the thoughts, ideas, and experiences that make each of us our own world is one of the reasons why I want to travel! Sharing a common space would facilitate that, I'm sure.
Interests
I play soccer, I watch soccer, and I coach soccer - to say it's an "interest" is a bit of an understatement. When I am not watching soccer or other sports, I am usually watching nature or travel documentaries or anything thought-provoking. I also pass the time playing some video games here and there, reading, and doing generally athletic things. Listening to music is a constant.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy hip-hop, r&b, electronic, classical, and a whole host of other music that may or may not be hard to categorize.
Some of my favorite movies include Man on Fire, City of God, Crash, 300, and Avatar.
I grew up with Harry Potter - like I literally was the age Harry Potter was as I read the books - so that series will always be special to me. I'm also a big fan of the Game of Thrones series A Song of Ice and Fire.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Nothing too amazing just yet but hoping traveling changed that!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll give you the recipe for the best green enchiladas you'll ever have! Or I'll make them.
