I spent too much time alone in hotel rooms while traveling for work. For the past several years I have managed to stay away form hotels and only stayed with Airbnb hosts. During a recent trip, I made new friends who recommended Couchsurfing as an even better alternative to both find lodging when traveling, and meet new people while hosting travelers.
