Overview
About Me
22 year old guy from Cali, Colombia; just finished my undergrad in International Relations in Bogotá and my master's degree in Risk and Development in Bordeaux. Now living and working in Paris.
Easygoing, openminded, culture-interested and willing to get to know different things and meet awesome people.
I like unexpected things and the seeking discomfort philosophy. One thing that I truly love about travelling is to taste food I’ve never tried before.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
2 and a half years ago, when I first couchsurfed I was excited and anxious to get to know about this awesome way of traveling. Couchsurfing was by far the best experience I had while backpacking through Europe at age 18 with my sister: we met warmhearted people to whom we even talk to nowadays.
Now that I will be living in Europe I would be more than glad to continue accumulating experiences, adventures and, most importantly, friends! Wanting to hang out, get some beers, throw a party, get on adventures and seeking discomfort.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: EDM, techno, house, bachata, salsa, reggaeton, merengue, vallenato, pop, rock; almost every type of music.
Films: I'm not the best at watching movies because I always fall asleep.
Books: The Odissey, Las travesuras de la niña mala, Le petit prince
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a roadtrip from Miami to New York in 3 days and the landscapes were definitely stunning.
I also went to Venezuela a few years ago, and it was very shocking to see their unfortunate situation, despite of it being a beautiful country.
I went solo to Peru and did the backpaker road to Machu Picchu.
I spent 5 days in Chocó (one of the poorest departments in Colombia) with the community and doing fieldwork, it was awesome.
I snorkeled with starfish in Cozumel
I did scuba diving for a week in Islas del Rosario, Colombia
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to dance salsa and love to do it, as it is obvious if you know I’m from Cali, world’s salsa capital. I also love and know how to dance other latino swings such as bachata, reggaeton and merengue.
I speak french, spanish and english; and I’m good with speaking any of those.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy talking to people about every topic you can imagine. I reaaally like politics and international affairs (as you can infer by knowing that I study IR), I also love listening to stories of people who've traveled around the world (I think I'm a better listener than speaker), and getting to tell my stories. Experiences and curious things are undoubtely the most interest things you can listen.
I offer myself to talk to you in Spanish if you wish to learn my language! And a few salsa lessons would't be bad at all.
I would also love to invite you to get something to drink or eat if you’re free, that way we can get to know each other better.
