About Me

Originally from Colombia/USA. Been living in Stockholm for 15 years. Love to travel, eat and drink delicious things, music, literature, poetry, arts, meeting new people. Very easy going, enjoy sitting at a quiet bar having a cocktail and a good conversation as much as dancing to techno at an open air in the middle of the forest. I also enjoy skateboarding, going for bike rides and talking ridiculously long walks in new cities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just got a new place in Stockholm where I feel I can welcome and take care of new friends. I'm traveling with my family for Christmas in Barcelona but they're leaving on the 29th so I decided I wanted to stay here by myself for New Year's and see where I end up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About five years ago a group of my friends and I arranged a small music festival in a small midsummer paradise way up north in Sweden called Köja. It was of the most beautiful, relaxing, stressful, crazy, euphoric experiences of my life. Here's some pics!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to teach useful phrases in languages I speak and languages I don't speak, I've picked up a few cooking, cleaning, bartending and event coordinating tricks through several years of doing all sorts of work in the restaurant/night life business.

Lately I'v been slowly starting to teach myself how to beat match, so if you're a good Dj or enjoy mixing music I'd love you to teach me new tricks and show me new music! I'd really like to get better att growing my own food, especially herbs, berries, cucumbers, zucchinis and such... so if you're a good gardener, hit me up! I've written mainly song lyrics, poetry and some prose in the past and I've just embarked on my first couple och script projects – a short film and a play. Right now I'd especially love to hang with people that are into producing film, acting, editing, directing, or writing plays!

If you speak German, Italian, Catalan, Icelandic, Portuguese or French please teach me!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook and mix drinks for my friends. Exchanging film, music, food and book tips. I'm also really good at cleaning kitchens ;)
