I'm Juan and I'm 26 years old. I'm Spanish but I am currently living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. I'm an English teacher, that is, in fact my passion. When it comes about life, I really enjoy meeting new cultures and developing myself. Getting to know different cities and its people is the best way to do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am normally traveling alone, and it's the best way to get in touch with somebody that first knows the city but can also show me new friendships.

Interests

My first interest are dogs! I absolutely love dogs. I've got two (they are back in Spain and I miss them a lot). I do love sports, cinema, knowing new places and hanging out, of course.

Music, Movies, and Books

If talking about music, I do like indie music (Alternative pop and rock), but I kind of also listen to mainstream music. Reading is not my passion but I always enjoy reading when I've got free time. Harry Potter is my saga. Finally, movies are part of my life, but I don't have a favourite one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest adventure has been coming to the USA as part of a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant program. I've met people, but the best is yet to come.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teaching and learning are two items that I do consider synonyms. When it comes into education, I always learn from my students -they're teenagers, they have got a lot to teach-, from their background and their personality. I also try to learn from life itself, each part of the city I visit, each activity I perform. If we didn't learn, life would be much boring.
