Chi sono
I'm a 25 year old Mexican geek who loves science, is very curious and inquisitive, «suffers» from wanderlust but sadly hasn't had the opportunity to travel as much as he'd like, and has a strange fixation with maps and, particularly, islands.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
A friend of mine has hosted many times, some of which I've got to know the people staying with him. These people have been from all around the world, from various backgrounds, and of different ages, but all of them really interesting people.
I would like to travel soon, staying in people's houses so I can know the real people of the places I visit. Someday, hopefully soon, I'd like to host, too (there are restrictions in the place I live in currently).
What I can and would love to do is showing people around the city :)

Musica, film e libri
I love books. Sometimes I feel that I can't say I love literature, because I've read and loved many books that arguably aren't great literature (I mean some best sellers). But of course I've read many classics and serious literature; to name a few favourite authors: Borges, Hesse, Petrovic, Tolkien, Chiang, Kundera.
I recently took an interest in cinema. Right after graduating from university, I found myself with a lot of free time, some of which I now occupy watching films. I like international cinema, and, more recently, I've discovered that old films (from before the 70's) are much better than I thought.
I'd say that my taste in music revolves around folk (from Cohen to OMAM), jazz (I'm very fond of vocal jazz, specially female singers), classical music (czech composers are amongst my favourite), rock (probably mainly 80's rock), and metal (at least a trace of my puberty tastes).
