We are a bask-galician couple (Esther is from the Bask Country - in France - and Juan is from Galicia - in Spain) who met in Barcelona in 2017. We both love travelling and we have already visited some countries together (France, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Italy…). We decided to quit our jobs to travel in a different way: having more time to stay in each place and discover its people and its culture. We believe that is what makes the journey so beautiful, not just to be in new places but the people you meet on the road and the cultural exchange which broadens your mind.

We are in Couchsurfing looking for people who can introduce us to the local culture and teach the many secrets there are in each place. As well, we would provide our two different points of view, as born in France and Spain.

Juan:
I am really into Spanish HipHop (Kase.O, Sharif, SFDK) but I enjoy almost any kind of music.

Esther:
Since I was born my father rocked me with ACDC, Kiss, Metallica, Scorpions… I have seen many of them in concerts and I love the good vibes of Rock’n’roll / metal.
I like Disney and my favorite Disney movie is The Little Mermaid. I love books and movies about travels. My favorite ones are Wild and Into the Wild.

Juan:

Esther:
I participated in an humanitarian rally in the Moroccan desert. The aim was to bring school furnitures to the children and we had one week to cross Spain and Morocco driving a 4L Renault to reach the arrival in Marrakech.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Juan:
I love computers, programming and playing around with any kind of devices. I love learning all kind of stuff, from cooking to how to play new games, and I enjoy talking about my field, cybersecurity :)

Esther:
I love talking about travels, which countries you have visited, when, how, why, what did you learn; I like talk about mines also. I love sharing moments listening to music, dancing, playing. I am very curious and I like learning new things everytime there is human interactions (I mean not myself alone with a book).

Esther:
