Overview
About Me
Colombian guy with a mission: travelling around the world to discover new friends/cultures/mindsets/religions/landscapes! I live in Düsseldorf, Germany after coming back from an amazing working experience India. I am fully dedicated to my business-development position in an multinational IT company, but I am always keen to learn about different professional paths.
I have been to various countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas, but I am always keen to hit a new spot on the map! Ihave not used this platform much, but I would love to change that and meet more people to share experiences! :)
Something you should know: I have a reaaaaaally bad memory. Please dont make me your partner at any game which requires saying movies/songs/people names :(
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS means to me travelling, meeting awesome people and get to know magnificent spots with locals (or perhaps other visitors) ! I want to visit different countries and have a flavor of them which goes beyond the typical LonelyPlanet guide.
Is it a sin not wanting to be a typical tourist? I admit many times I am in a city only for 2 days (weekend trips) but there´s nothing more rewarding than reaching your plane back home and having the feeling you took a piece of that place into your soul!
Interests
I like travelling a lot.... I must admit I looove having new stamps/visas on my passport as well. Since I usually take my long vacations to go and visit my family back in South America, the majority of my travels within Europe are short (2-3 days) and mostly during the weekends.
I try to make the most out of them combining local heritage+typical spots+cosy cafes+exciting nightlife+perhaps a relaxing massage or sauna? Most of the times I come back home in need of real vacations!! But it´s all worth it! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
India and Nepal are the countries in which I have felt I explored my most adventurous side. Like...I didn´t do any fancy 5 stars trips there, but the sceneries I experienced in various cities were totally amazing and worth the kidney pain! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Besides a place to sleep, I´d like to share a glass of wine and talk about stories, political situation, dreams, mad moments at work, challenges, goals...simple gossip would do the trick as well. Sometimes when I have drunk much I like listening to music and singing/dancing.
ooooor.....
I can teach you how to be so dramatic like Sofia Vergara (Gloria @ Modern Family).
