About Me
Hi. I'm Juan.
I'm new to Couchsurfing and I'm planning my first trip to Toscana, Italy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to be such a couch potato. I live in the very center of Europe and I have only ever been to a few places. I want to change that! I want to see Europe and travel as much as possible!
Since I often have many visitors from Mexico, I know how it makes a difference to look at a city in the eyes of a local. I love to meet people! Couchsurfing is probably the best way to do that!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read a book in a while. I love to read! The Problem is that I get sidetracked and get some many ideas when I read. I have to write them down, of course. And that is why it takes me ages to finish a book.
I prefer watching movies and TV series. I like to be completely immersed in the narrative. I really enjoy the modern powerhouses like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. But I also like House of cards, Fargo, Stranger Things, Mr. Robot, Sherlock, Marvel's Daredevil and True Detective among others.
I used to like Hip Hop in my teens, but I have come to love all kinds of music. If you share with me your favourites, I share mine!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled three months in South East Asia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a big Mexican family and I get a lot of visitors. I love to show people around Bern. I might not be able to host, but I show you the city if you're up for it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to throw dinners in summer, whenever I can. I love to invite new people! I like to cook Asian food like Thai or Indian curries. I created my own chorizo-chickpea curry. Since I'm Mexican, I love to make Mole! It's a chocolate-based Chili. You have to try it! I also like European food... I make a mean bolognese. Come to my house, and I cook for you!
