About Me
it's been a while since I have been here!... Some years ago (5 to 6 years actually), and after having such amazing hosts when I was studying abroad in Europe, I hosted several travelers that where passing by Merida, also with amazing experiences.
Now I live in Mexico City and my life has changed a lot (for the better, blissfully!) and I wanted to reconnect with the Couchsurfing platform, and meet and connect with more people.
If you want to know some stuff about me this are the highlights:
1) I studies Marketing and Business, but iI ended up writing code now, best decission ever.
2) Im kinda a nerd for history and culture, so if you are the type that likes hearing (or telling) "fun" facts about stuff maybe we will get along :)
3) I'm gay. Just clarifying cause there's people that apparently have issues with that even nowadays
4) Usually I'm more free to do stuff on the weekends, I'm a bit busy from Monday to Friday
I would love to host again, but Mexico City's rents are definitely higher than Merida's so here I have a roomate and I cannot host as freely as I would like.
But hey, hit me up and maybe I can show you around!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love CS culture,it has given me many good experiences and I like to give back aswell
Interests
I like culture and languages, Im a sucker for that and always would love to talk about differences and similarities between us.
I also like discovering places to eat here, so if we go out there's a chance that I show you some place I discovered or that we discover something together
Whenever possible I love a good hike.

Music, Movies, and Books
Generally speaking I like pop and dance music, but often I would listen different types of music from time to time: Switching from languages, genres, artists, etc.
It's been a while since I read books, but the last one I was reading was "Cannibals and Kings" from Marvin Harris (its an antropology book, but its really cool). Also ne of my favourites books ever is "The Cereus Blooms At Night" from Shani Mooto, definitely changed my life when I was younger, it is so powerful.
And the list for movies might be too long to put here, so maybe that's something to discuss when we meet in person ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I switched carreers after finishing my Bachelors degree in Marketing: In a matter of weeks I managed to changed my whole life and came to Mexico City to start from scratch. I honestly thing that was the most amazing nice thing I've done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you with your Spanish, maybe show you some dishes or share some Mexican History or cultural facts with you
