About Me
Hey !!
I'm Juan Santiago, I'm from Medellín, Colombia although I've been living in Bogotá for the las 7 years. I'm currently studying Comupter Engineering and Business Managment (Double Major). About my attitude, I'm a really respectful and organized guy, with good manners and no complications at all. I've stayed in many family houses before and never had any kind of issue, so I'm sure we can get along perfectly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a young student I always find myself looking for the best deals while being able to experience the best of each place's culture I visit. Now that I've met you cool CouchSurfers, everything is so easy and perfect!
Interests
I'm really into sports, traveling, music and programming. For me, good music has no genre at all. I love Salsa and Rock as much as Classical Music and Spanish music.
You can expect me to invite you to grab some drinks or have a cold beer at the nearest park/beach !
Music, Movies, and Books
As I said before, I love all kinds of music, but to be honest, the genre I do listen the most is called "Flamenco Rock" (youtube some old 'Melendi' songs) and Techno.
In terms of movies, well, my new favorite is "Interestelar", but hey that can change anytime soon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the end of 2015 two friends and I won a contest in Colombia about Innovation in Technology by creating an app that promotes the use of the bicycle and plants trees while you do !
Currently we are working on the app's last details and hope to launch it in Q3 of 2016. It's called Trilly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some Beatles' guitar tabs, cook some tasty Colombian food and why not, we can create the next travelling platform and app together !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you all my culture FAQ's, dance some latin music together and enjoy a great coffee or a cold beer and talk about whatever comes into our minds.
