About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be able to sing (well)

ABOUT ME

After 8 years living in Poland I have moved to Uppsala, Sweden. We'll see...

Please check the information I have in this site about me

http://secure.hospitalityclub.org/hc/travel.php?cid=juan_antonio&cid=juan_antonio&language=en

I'm much more active Servas than HC or CS.

PHILOSOPHY

What is that???

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just recieving people. Maybe it's a good beginning. Later it's fine to keep in contact with people you have visited.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had very good experiences in Servas. Meetings with people from another country are a good way against prejudices and stereotypes. I've been living in Poland for more than 6 years. I feel like meeting people from another countries (Holland, Norway, Sweeden ...) where religion doesn't control the whole life (Is that an stereotype about those countries??)

Interests

I don't know. A lot of things. I like asking -when I meet people from other countries- aobut social and politic situation of their places.

  • singing
  • traveling
  • socializing
  • religion

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't go to the cinema very often. Anyway I liked very much "Goodfellas" and "Ordet".
I have an active contact with music. Unfortunately I don't have time to sit down and listen to music. I like opera very much but when I was a teenager I used to listen heavy metal (I played in a heavy metal band when I was 16:).
I love folk music. Polish folk music is very nice. Spanish folk music is very rich (not only flamenco). Japanese folk music is lovely. I love the sound of the Shamisen or Biwa. Would you like to play Shamisen? http://www.itchu.com/e/e_shamisen_sound.html
Try it! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have already lived for more than 38 years. I'd like to live 38 more or even more

Teach, Learn, Share

Ohhh!!! I'm forgetting my english. After living in Poland for many years my english became "contaminated" with a lot of polish words and expresions. Please, be patient.
