I like to have a good time. Laughing is the best cure for a bad day. Off color humor is great and I love sarcastic, witty people. Intelligence is a must. It's hard to have a good conversation with an absolute dolt. I have no time for bigotry, thieves, liars or crooks, other than that, I have the ability to get along with pretty much anyone.

I love to travel and have been as far east as the Czech Republic. I love going to Europe and have made it my life's ambition to go there at least once a year. I think Germany is my favorite country, so far. But, then again, there's Italy. Renaissance art and architecture is very interesting to me, but I like any kind of art: primitive to modern.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movies. Although, I'm not much into sappy love stories. I like B movies, sci-fi, art house, documentaries...

I like all kinds of music. Recently, I started listening to Arabic music and it is just amazing. Classical gets me through the day, but when I'm in the car, I like some old school metal. I won't turn my ear off to anything...except for pop-country music and pop-music in general. I just find it to be devoid of any feeling or emotion. Mozart or Britney? I'll take Mozart any day.

In terms of what I read, I pretty much like non-fiction books. Art, history, philosophy...anything that provokes thought. I also like books about furniture and I'm obsessed with packaging. Especially Asian packaging. I don't know where it comes from, but I like to read about it and I also like to make it. If you ever get a gift from me, chances are I made it and I made the packaging, also. Cool stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Florence last summer, I climbed the Duomo steps only to be rewarded with one of the most beautiful views of the city and the hills of Tuscany. It was amazing. I could go on and on...

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn to speak German better. I would like to meet people who I could potentially collaborate with on with art projects and music. It would be very interesting to meet some people who play music and possibly record from different parts of the globe via email and web cam. I would also like to discuss doing some art projects that would be collaborative. This could be a good forum for that, via CouchSurfing. What do you think?
