About Me
Hi, I'm Juan! 👋
I am a curious 24-year-old Argentinian engineer 🇦🇷
My favorite food is pasta (gnocchi) 🍝
I love doing sports and traveling 🤸♂️🧳
As of now, I'm a citizen of the globe 🌎
I enjoy living new experiences and making friends wherever I go.
My goals are to see the "7 Wonders", the "5 Continents", and the "5 Seas" and before I become old and fussy 😂
I speak Spanish, English and a little Italian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The main reason I join CouchSurfing is to make some friends, fellow travelers. Plus, to help me fulfill my biggest dream, explore the world. After obtaining my degree in industrial engineering, I had left my country, my family, and my friends to pursue it. In the meantime, I want to learn about the places I step in (their history, languages, culture, people), my linage, and certainly me.
Currently, I'm on a journey to Ireland 🇮🇪, In which I will attempt to comprehend an Irish member of my genealogy. I look forward to settling there, making friends, traveling, and enjoying it.
Interests
I like to play football (⚽️) and tennis (🥎), so if someone wants to play, count me in.
Have you heard about neurolinguistic programming? 👀
NLP is a branch of neurology that deals with the study of human behavior and how to understand its language. I'm fascinated by that. Moreover, I am also extremely curious about humans and universe history.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorites:
- 🎸: All-Star by Smash Mouth (Shrek's song).
- 📖: Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari.
- 🎬: I'm between my childhood one, Lion King and Troy.
- 📺: I definitely would chose Vikings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most memorable thing 🏅
It's hard to pick just one; maybe when I jumped from a 15 meters cliff into the water! 🏔
It was brief, about two seconds (as I’m an engineer, I used physics to estimate the height of the precipice), yet it was amazing. I can't explain the adrenaline that I felt, it hurts (I had chest ache for a week 🏥) but it was worth it! This was one of my favorite days ever with my family in my hometown (San Juan, Argentina).
Now I’m looking for the next level, bungee jumping, maybe in New Zealand or Costa Rica. To finally pursue my goal of doing a free-fall, hoping that the parachute works 🪂
Teach, Learn, Share
- Teach: I'm willing to share any knowledge I possess. Just ask for it. From engineering to some words in Spanish my native language.
- Learn: I believe that everybody is created differently, and everybody has a story to share from the perspective of their different backgrounds and experiences.
- Share: Friendship, stories, experience, travel passion, and Argentine food recipes 🇦🇷
What I Can Share with Hosts
