I am an ESL Teacher, but wish I could go hiking for a living.
For the past 6 years I have been full-time traveling around the world... 2 years around 42 States, and 4 years around 30+ countries. But with the situation now, I am currently embarking on a move to Colorado for a new job, and some mountain-time :)

I love traveling because it teaches you to look at the world from different perspectives, and to be humble as you do your best to do good and be kind to those around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have volunteered and worked around the Americas, Europe, and SouthEast Asia in an effort to explore and to pull my own weight simultaneously... I like couchsurfing, because it allows us to meet people from many different backgrounds and walks of life who have very similar mindsets when it comes to traveling, and sometimes very different experiences and perspectives. I like swapping stories, and seeing small glimpses into the lives of locals all over the world. Small deeds of generosity with strangers is the type of currency I like to exchange!

Interests

I love traveling, camping, bonfires, drawing/painting, photography, and I've been getting a lot into gardening this year: have an avocado tree, some papaya trees, and some bell-peppers on the way back in Florida :)
Also into long roadtrips, languages, mountains, I'm a very inconsistent climber, but I love it!
I also like quick wit, writing, and the kind of conversations that make strangers feel like great old friends!
