About Me

I´m now finishing my diploma in tourism and certificate III in Tour Guiding in Melbourne, Australia. Going back to Chile to create new opportunities for local communities in travel and tourism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m traveling with my family and I just re-sign my account in couch surfing hoping to have a different travel experience for the time it left in Australia with my little daughter and my wife. I was a couch surfer when I lived in Puerto Varas, Chile and I meet a lot of lovely people in my home. Most of them lived me any reference.

I love to meet new people. I had been living, exploring, working outdoor (also has a fly fishing guide) and I have been studying tourism for a long time. I love arts, music, books. I write in Spanish as well (mainly in Spanish). I participate writing on a couple blogs now, and I started up a local travel related business. I believe in real connections between people and nature.

Interests

I strongly believe in empowering local communities and the path that sustainable travel and tourism can offer for development.

Now I work in Indigenous base community tourism and in heritage, interpretation looking forward to generating relevant connections between people and its natural and cultural heritage.
