About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be happy and make others happy and help my family
ABOUT ME
I have many nationalities and ways of seeing the world. I grew up in Colombia half my life. The other half I spent it in Florida. And I became a professional in Washington D.C., where I used to work as a journalist and videographer. I also love to create animations on Adobe Premiere/After Effects. I shot two documentary films and got married and lived in Greece. Now I am in Paris, France working as a video editor for Medecins Sans Frontieres. My living situation now is complex. Hoping to find someone who will be kind enough to let me sleep on their couch for a couple of weeks or one month. In exchange I can offer a friendship and a professional video of anything you like.
PHILOSOPHY
When life throwns you bricks, you use the bricks to build something new . If you want to do something, you do it. Period. No excuses. And help as many as you can. Smile and just go for it. Be spontaneous. And love everyone no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couch surfed in Carrara, Italy once and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had. I can't wait to do it again.
Interests
Things that grab my attention are people who are passionate about something. People who are laid back and not so finicky about little things. People who understand the news and what is happening around the world and actually care about it. People who love literature and know something I don't--it's amazing to learn new things from everyone. I spend most of my time writing; whether it is poetry, articles, stories etc...I also spend it with family, when I am close to them. When I'm traveling I spend it in museums, watching out for local culture and learning a little bit about it. Or just walking without a path. Just finding interesting new things on the path you didn't expect. I like people who don't look down on anyone and who are chill and don't have too many airs because of their degrees or because they studied in a good school. I really just care about people if they care about others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I live in Paris, France after living in Greece, Lyon and Washington D.C. I love dancing Latin music, love nature, love hiking (wish I could do this more), love a day without my phone (rarely happens), love the beach, love the pool, love movies--movies from other countries. I'm studying French...and I'm working with various nonprofits helping refugees.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know Spanish and English. I can teach you how to edit videos or film them. I’d love to learn more about animation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a nice chat or tell you about what I do. Share a cup of coffee and walking and hiking, which I love to do.
