Juan is unstoppable. He is a development agent from the heart of the Caribbean, driven by an uncontrollable urge of creating daily significance.

He has devoted his career to assist vulnerable populations in community-based organizations of Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and South Africa; attending slums and areas of extreme need. He currently works for a humanitarian organization dedicated to provide free healthcare to indigenous communities in the Amazon, advocating for aid strategies that integrate a transition from dependence to sustainability.

He admires people who know the value of knowing the value. If you question his mom, she would say that the difference between him and everyone else is that he is always willing to go one more step, fitting in is for sardines. People often ask about how he has managed to mitigate suffering for almost a decade in Latin America. No one has ever asked that question in Latin America.
